Cancellation & Refund Policy

The Alumni Association of Maulana Azad College, Kolkata ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring Transparency & Customer Satisfaction in all Transactions. Please read the following Cancellation & Refund Policy carefully to understand your Rights & Obligations regarding Payments made through our Website.

1. Event Registration Cancellation:

1.1 Cancellation Requests:

  • If you wish to cancel your Registration for an Event organized by the Alumni Association, you must submit a Cancellation Request via E-mail to support@macalumni.in

  • Cancellation Requests will only be considered if received at least 3 Working Days before the Event Date

1.2 Refund Eligibility:

  • Cancellations made within the Specified Time-frame may be eligible for a Refund, subject to a Processing Fee of 2.5% of the Registration Fees

  • Refunds will not be provided for Cancellations made after the Specified Deadline

1.3 Refund Process:

  • Approved Refunds will be processed within 7-10 Working Days of receiving the Cancellation Request

  • Refunds will be credited to the Original Payment Method used during the Transaction, excluding any Credit Card or Wallet Transactions. Refunds for Payments made via Credit Card or Digital Wallets are not supported due to Processing Restrictions. Please use Alternative Payment Methods for Eligible Refunds

2. Membership Fee Cancellation:

2.1 Non-Refundable Policy:

  • Membership Fees paid for joining the Alumni Association are Non-refundable under any Circumstances

2.2 Exceptions:

  • If a Duplicate Payment is made, you may request a Refund by contacting us within 3 Working Days of the Transaction

  • Requests for Refunds of Duplicate Payments will be reviewed & approved Refunds will be processed within 7-10 Working Days

3. Donation Refund Policy:

3.1 Non-Refundable Donations:

  • Donations made to the Alumni Association are Non-refundable. We encourage you to carefully review your Donation Details before proceeding with the Transaction

3.2 Exceptions:

  • If a Technical Issue results in an Incorrect or Duplicate Donation, please contact us at support@macalumni.in within 3 Working Days. Refund Requests will be reviewed & processed accordingly

4. General Terms:

  • All Refund Requests are subject to Verification & Approval by the Alumni Association

  • Refunds will only be issued to the Original Payment method used for the Transaction, except any Credit Card or Digital Wallet Transaction

  • Any Applicable Service Charges, Payment Gateway Fees, or Processing Fees may be deducted from the Refund Amount

5. Updates to This Policy:

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy Periodically. Changes will be posted on this Page with an updated "Effective Date." Please review it Regularly to stay informed
