ALUMNI FUNDRAISER APPEAL
Dear Members,
We are happy to inform that the MAC Alumni Association has expanded its registered membership beyond 250, through its outreach initiatives in the centenary year. We invite all ex-students of Maulana Azad College to register and connect with the MAC Alumni Association, through the Online Registration Portal in our Official Website.
The Centenary Celebration Committee of the MAC Alumni Association has decided to organise & sponsor a series of events in 2025 in collaboration with the college administration, to observe the centenary of our alma mater in a befitting manner.

MAC Alumni Association is launching a fundraising initiative to collect Rs. 4.5 lakh only to help carry out the planned events. We urge all alumni members to contribute generously to ensure the success of the fundraiser and the events it supports.

Maulana Azad College Alumni Association
Centenary Celebration Committee, 2025-2026
We are happy to announce the formation of a special committee of the Maulana Azad College (MAC) Alumni Association to organise the centenary celebration of the institution. The foundation stone of the College was laid on December 9, 1924. Initially named as the Islamia College, the institution started admitting students from 1926. The institution was renamed as Central Calcutta College after independence and finally renamed as Maulana Azad College in 1960, after the secular icon of the freedom struggle and the first Education Minister of independent India.
Maulana Azad College (MAC) Alumni Association has decided to celebrate the college centenary over a period of two years, till December 2026. We are cordially inviting the Alumni of the college to Register with the alumni association to participate in the academic/cultural events to be organised in the days to come.
